The minority groups are the one who has been the subject of prejudice and discrimination by the dominant group since time immemorial.
The constitution of India provides the essential features to keep a check on the privileges that ensures equal rights for the minority groups. One such system which was introduced by the founding father of the constitution Dr B.R Ambedkar was the reservation system which was introduced to uplift the economic as well as social standards of the minority group where there was a reservation system of 15% and 7.5% for the scheduled castes and scheduled tribes respectively.
