Solution

Dear student,

Vasectomy and Tubectomy are surgical method s to control the population. They also known as sterilization methods. They do not affect the normal sexual life.

Vasectomy :It is a small surgical operation performed in males. It involves removal of a small portion of the sperm duct by surgical operation. The two cut ends are then tied with threads to prevent the sperms from coming out.
Tubectomy: It is a surgical method performed in Females . It involves removal of a small portion of the fallopian tubes by surgical operation. The cut ends are then tied with threads to prevent the egg to enter the fallopian tube.

After the surgical procedure done the sperm (in males) and egg(in females) still be produced. But in males the Sperm produced by the testicles, are soon broken down and absorbed by the body. Whereas, in females Eggs produced by the ovaries disintegrate in the tube, and there is just no place for it to go, and she will continue to have periods as before.
