how does vasodilation and vasoconstriction regulate body temperature

Dear Student, Vasodilation means dilation of blood vessels. When the temperature of body is high bloor vessels near the skin dilates to decrease heat production and reduces temperature to normal. Vasoconstriction means constrictionof blood vessels. Blood vessels constricts to increase heat production when temperature of body is low. Regards.
