Open in App
Solution

Vinegar:

  1. Vinegar is a 5-8% aqueous solution of acetic acid that is commonly used in cooking.
  2. Vinegar is fatal to plant life.
  3. It is acidic and thus dissolves the cell membranes of leaves.
  4. This leads to the desiccation of plant tissues and ultimately results in plant death.
  5. When introduced into the soil, it lowers the pH level and inhibits plant growth.
