  2. It engulf the germs and protect the body.
  3. Normal number of WBC are 4,500 to 11,000 per mm of blood.
  4. Having a higher or lower number of WBCs than normal may be an indication of an underlying condition i.e. any type of infection or disease
  5. . A WBC count can detect the infections within body and alert doctors to diagnosed medical conditions such as an allergic reaction, inflammation, blood cancer such as leukaemia or lymphoma, or any side effects caused by medicines.
