Wind consists of air molecules which are in constant random motion i.e. have some kinetic energy.
In evaporation, the molecules of liquid leave the surface of liquid by absorbing energy from surroundings.
When wind blows over the liquid, the collision between air molecules and surface molecules of liquid takes place. The kinetic energy of air molecules is transferred to liquid molecules, thereby, increasing its kinetic energy. This energy helps liquid molecules to lave the surface and form vapour.
