Open in App
Solution

(a) The body of earthworm is divided into many segments. Each segment on an earthworm’s body has a number of bristly hairs called setae which provide grip to help the earthworm move through the soil.
(b) The streamlined body of an earthworm is an adaptation which allows the earthworm to live in narrow burrows underground and to move easily through the soil.
