1. Molecules are the chemically bonded unions of atoms. For e.g when one atom of oxygen combines with 2 atoms of hydrogen,water is formed. This is as shown :

2 H + O $\to$ H₂O
2. However,atoms do not exist in such forms as they are very unstable to exist as individuals. So we find them as already present in the form of simpler molecules such as H₂ and O₂ .
2. The composition of an atom with other atom and their respective nature as individual atoms and as molecules are very different.As H₂ and O₂ are gases and H₂O is liquid.
3. We all are nothing but molecules. We are made of proteins,which are long complex molecules of carbon,nitrogen,oxygen and hydrogen.
4. Moreover,food that we eat is also a type of molecule just like water.
5. Thus,universe is nothing but complex structures of molecules formed by different compositions of individual atoms.
6. The variation in the composition of every atom in a molecule effect significantly the nature of molecule.
