a. Resources are required for the very sustenance of human life, be it land, water resources, mineral resources, human resources
b.
Both industrial, agricultural sector require resources to remain functional and to ensure production.
c. All these resources are required and are imperative for nations' growth and development and also for a particular region
d. It is with the availability of such resources along with human intervention and appropriate technology we can create something valuable and make use of them optimally
e. Further, lack of resources be it natural or man made resources accounts for underdevelopment , as such regions continue to remain backward due to lack of proper capital, human resource, or mineral resources
