Initial velocity of the automobile $u = 0 m / s$
For Automobile : $S = u t + \frac{1}{2} a_{A} t^{2}$
$∴$ $x + 60 = 0 + \frac{1}{2} \times 3.5 \times (6.93)^{2} = 84$
$⟹ x = 24$ m
Hence the automobile was $24$ m behind the truck initially.
