Question

HOW GLOBAL WARMING DAMAGES WATER CYCLE?

Open in App
Solution

Dear student.

As a result of global warming generally ice and glaciers melts , the reverse doesn't happen. This leads to the rise in sea level. The water level in the ground is receding due to over consumption of water and also because the surface covered by concrete is increasing. As a result, the ground water sources cannot be recharged as there is no seepage of water into the ground. Thus global warming damages water cycle.

Regards.
