Solution
Air pollution is the contamination of the internal or external environment by the chemical, physical or biological means which modify the natural conditions of the atmosphere.
Processing industries release a lot of air pollutants (eg. dust from cotton, iron mill, flour mill, cement industries, asbestos industry) causing pneumoconiosis and other pulmonary health problems.
Fuel industries consume coal and other fossil fuels which send out smoke, polluting gases, and hydrocarbons.
Chemical industries send out toxic chemicals into the air that have a harmful effect on plants, animals, and humans.
