Solution

Dear Student,

Emergency state in India is a period of governance that is proclaimed by the President of India during some crisis situations.
But President can do this under the advice of the cabinet of ministers only and even if President declares emergency, then wide powers to handle special situations in emergency are assumed by the central government only i.e sitting in the parliament. As in emergency, the Centre can take full legislative and executive control of any state.
For eg. President Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed officially declared emergency in 1975 on the advice of the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and she assumed wide powers during emergency period.
