1. They use their trunk as nose because of which they have a strong sense of smell. The trunk is also used for picking up food.
2. Large ears help them in hearing even very soft sounds. They also help the elephant to keep cool in the hot and humid climate of the rainforest.
3. They have thick padded feet which help them in moving silently.
