Solution

Dear student

Due to intense heating, air gets warm and rises over the equatorial region. the equatorial low pressure belt extends upto 10 degree north & south of equator. The warm air of equatorial belt gradually cools down when it goes up & turns towards the north & south in northern & southern hemisphere, the sub-tropical high pressure belt extends from near the tropics to about 35 degree north & south, comes down & again goes up to sub-polar lows located at 45 degree north & south to the arctic & antarctic. the warm ocean currents from the tropical & sub tropical region carry intense heat to sub polar regions & results in high temperature & low pressure condition there & so on. Thus it flows according to the variations in atmospheric pressure, temperature.
