Open in App
Solution

Cultivation of rose plant:

  1. Take a knife to cut a sample of a node from the rose branch.
  2. The sample cut from the branch acts as the rose cutting for cultivation.
  3. The rose plant has a bud in the axil of a leaf.
  4. The lower part of the sample is buried in the soil with an ample amount of moisture.
  5. Whereas the upper part of the sample consists of bud or node.
  6. The buried cutting should be watered regularly.
  7. After some time, the buried end of the sample develops roots and the upper part germinates into a shoot.
  8. Consequently, the branch cutting of the rose plant matures into a new plant.
