Solution
Adaptation in snow leopard:
Adaptation is the development of particular features or habits which enables a living organism to survive better in its habitat.
The snow leopard is found in cold mountain habitats. Therefore, to survive the cold they have adapted a few features which enable them to adjust better to the surroundings:
They have thick fur on their body to conserve the body heat from escaping into the surroundings.
The fur is also present in the feet and toes to protect them from cold when it walks over the snow.
