1. The main products of burning fossil fuels are carbon dioxide and water vapor. These are greenhouse gases.
2. If these fuels are burnt incorrectly then carbon monoxide, and oxides of nitrogen are also released.
3. These oxides are the primary source of pollution in the atmosphere.
