Solution

The correct options are
A Angiotensin II
B High levels of potassium ions
C Low levels of sodium ions
Aldosterone is an essential part of water and electrolyte homeostasis. It stimulates sodium and water reabsorption in exchange for potassium. It also stimulates phosphate ion secretion. When the sodium concentration and water levels dip, angiotensin II is produced. This, along with the elevated potassium levels, triggers the production of aldosterone. The aldosterone produced will restore water and electrolyte balance.
