Question

How is co-dominance different from incomplete dominance and dominance?

Open in App
Solution

Codominance is a form of dominance where the alleles of a gene pair in a heterozygote are fully expressed, incomplete dominance is a form of intermediate inheritance in which one allele for a specific trait is not completely expressed over its paired allele, while dominance is the phenomenon whereby, in an individual containing two allelic forms of a gene, one is expressed to the exclusion of the other.
