To recompose the dispersed white light, follow the steps:
1. Split the spectrum of white light by using a prism. You will be able to obtain the VIBGYOR pattern.
2. Pass the dispersed white light, the VIBGYOR pattern through another prism which is placed just after the first prism but in inverted position with respect to the first prism.
3. Allow all the colours of spectrum to pass through second prism as shown in figure.
4. Place a screen on the other side of the second prism, white light will emerge on the other side of second prism on the screen.
