Open in App
Solution

Uterus:

  1. The uterus is an inverted pear-shaped muscular organ.
  2. Strong muscles of the uterus protect the embryo from external as well as internal pressure.
  3. The placenta formed from the uterus surrounds the embryo and is filled with amniotic fluid.
  4. Amniotic fluid helps prevent the embryo from injury and helps in regulating the body temperature of the embryo.
