Open in App
Solution

Fetus and embryo are different from each other in reference to their degree of development. After fertilization of the male and female gametes, a zygote is formed which divide to form an embryo in which the cells organize themselves into the order of their development. After the 9th week until the end of the gestation period, the developing embryo is regarded as a fetus.
