Green house effect leads to global warming or increase in the temperature on earth. This results in the following harmful effects:

1. More rapid melting of ice. Melting of ice bergs have increased level of water in the oceans and threatened low lying areas on earth.
2. Rapid melting of ice on high mountains contribute to flooding.
3. High temperatures lead to increased formation of water vapour that results in heavy rainfall and climate change.
