Air pollution occurs when substances like harmful gases, dust, fumes or odour are present in excessive amount in air. Rapid increase in the population results in the increase in use of natural and man made resources. This increase in use leads to the increase in pollution. More and more use of vehicles, air conditioners, washing machines etc. results in the more release of harmful gases that pollute the air. More population means more demands and increase in the production of goods that will lead to the increase in the industrial waste and use of pesticides and insecticides that pollute the water. More domestic waste leads to the both water and air pollution.
