How is our breathing rate would change when we are sleeping and when we are exercising?

  • When our body is resting, we need less air supply to our body. So, the breathing rate is slower when we are sleeping.
  • When a lot of physical activity is done, we breathe in and hence the breathing rate is faster while we are exercising.
