Presistence of vision is the property of our eyes that the image we see is there on the retina for 116 the of a second.
This property is used in cinematography as the projector shows us 24 images per second and thus our eyes is not able to determine each of the images separately as till the first image is on retina second is image is shown and thus our eyes get mistaken to see a moving picture instead of 2 pictures separately.
