Solution

Plaque is pale yellow, biofilm, that is formed by the bacteria attaching themselves to the smooth surface of a tooth and form a natural sticky layer in or around the tooth.
In some cases, plaque can build up in the arteries, narrowing them. This condition is known as artherosclerosis. This occurs when cholesterol combines with certain substances such as calcium, fat, etc. in the blood.
