Dear Student,
The environment becomes polluted by the exposure of chemicals such as pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers; UV rays irradiation, and toxic, poisonous gases released by various industries.
The toxic agents present in the atmosphere pollutes the natural resources air, water, and land and act as the vector and carriers of various diseases.
Pollutants of air can cause respiratory disorders, e.g. asthma, tuberculosis, etc. UV rays are responsible for causing mutations which can result in genetic disorders. Cholera and typhoid can be caused by the consumption of contaminated food and water.
Mosquitoes breed in the stagnant polluted water that can cause malaria, dengue, yellow fever, etc.
