Question

How is prediction about climate related to seismology ?

Open in App
Solution

Well it is not that well. Seismology is the study of earth quakes and movement of the tetonic plates of our earth crust. Small scale earth quakes donot affect the climate of a region. But large scale earth quakes do.if an earthquake occurs at high magnitude that is enough to change the topology of the area, region or even of the nation then the meteorological parameters may also change over there preliminary the absorbance of solar radiation. This affects the min. and max. temperatures as well and hence the other meteorological observations.
so unless its a huge earth quake people do not use seismic graph to predict weather they are both really different things to begin with.
