How is tensile strength can be a characteristic for making heating appliances?

We use high tensile strength materials to produce heating appliances. Because during heating , the metal expands. Since , heating appliances works at high temperature, expansion is higher, that is tension increases. Therefore high tensile strength materials are used. Otherwise the metal will break.
