How is the drift velocity in a conductor affected with the rise in temperature?

Drift velocity in a conductor is related as ${\to v}_{d} = ⎛ ⎝ \frac{e \to E}{m} ⎞ ⎠ τ$ , where $τ$ is relaxation time.

Due to rise in temperature, relaxation time decreases, hence drift velocity decreases.
