How is the fire caused by electricity extinguished?

Answer: by using Carbon dioxide gas.

The fire caused by electricity is very much dangerous and one should not use water to extinguish it because impure water (tank water) contains dissolved mineral ions that act as a good conductor of electricity and water will increase the strength of the fire. So ,one can use foam extinguisher or CO2 gas to extinguish the fire caused by electricity. It will get extinguish.
