Open in App
Solution

Dear student,

A uniform motion is defined as a motion in a straight line with constant speed along the line of motion.

In case of the motion of a train from a railway station, the train starts from rest, accelerate to reach a desired velocity and then decelartes to reduces it's velocity after approaching next station. Since a constant speed is not maintained, thus it is a non uniform motion.
