Question

How is the snow part of the water cycle?

Open in App
Solution

The majority of precipitation occurs in the form of rain. Other forms include snow, hail, sleet, and fog. Snow is formed when cold air freezes the water droplets into ice crystals. As water vapor increasingly collects on the crystal, it becomes heavy and eventually falls from the sky.
