Solution

Earthworm:

  1. The earthworm's scientific name is Pheretima posthuma.
  2. Its body is segmented, long, and cylindrical.
  3. The anterior side of the earthworm contains its mouth and prostomium.
  4. The existence of genital openings or genital pores allows the earthworm to identify its ventral surface from its dorsal surface.
  5. Because the earthworm is a bisexual species, it possesses both male and female sex organs in one individual.
  6. Male reproductive organs consist of two pairs of testes that are present in segments10–11, whereas female reproductive organs, known as ovaries, connect the female genital hole and open in segments 13-14.
