How is this problem possible-

{Rs 130- Rs 19.5 = 110.5}

How is 110.5 as a answer coming ?

Please do explain me.

We can write Rs 19.5 = Rs 19 + Rs 0.50 or (50 paisa)


We know 1 rupee = 100 paise

130 rupee = 130*100 = 13000 Paise

19.5 rupee = 19.5 * 100 = 1950 Paise

Rs.(130) - Rs (19.5) = 13000 Paise - 1950 Paise = (13000-1950) Paise = 11050 Paise

100 paise = 1 rupee

So 1 paise = 1/100 rupee

11050 Paise = 11050/100 = 110.50 rupee

So we will get Rs.(130) - Rs (19.5) = Rs (110.5)
