Open in App
Solution

The time taken by Hydrogen peroxide for its decomposition:

  • Hydrogen peroxide is very unstable. Due to its unstable nature, it decomposes in the environment instantly.
  • But if it is sealed in a container this can be preserved for three years but it will be effective only for six months.

Thus, Hydrogen Peroxide decomposes easily in an open environment and is preserved only in a sealed container.
