Open in App
Solution
M phase:
The mitotic (M) phase of the cell cycle includes stages of mitosis and cytokinesis.
The M phase progresses in four stages - prophase, metaphase, anaphase, and telophase.
The parent cell divides its DNA into two sets and then divides its cytoplasm to give rise to two daughter cells.
In mammalian cells, The M phase takes about 1 hour to produce new daughter cells.
