Hunger pangs:

1. Both hunger and satiation are feelings.
2. Hunger urges us to eat more food whereas satiation helps us to gain fulfillment.
3. The feeling of hunger is controlled by a hormone called Ghrelin.
4. When our stomach is empty it produces Ghrelin which further sends the signal to our brain, which in turn produces stomach contractions which are felt as hunger pangs.
5. These hunger pangs only last for 30-40 minutes.
6. It is happened to be observed when the sugar level falls we may feel hunger pangs.
