The structural isomer of a compound is another compound whose molecule has the same number of atoms of each element, but with logically distinct bonds between them.
In this given molecular formula i.e.C4H8 there are 5 structural isomers can be formed as follows:
1) but1ene
2) but2ene
3) 2methylprop1ene
4) cyclobutane
5) 1methylcyclopropane

But out of 5 structural isomers, only three belong to the alkene family i.e. but1ene,but2ene,2methylprop1ene. and rest two belong to cycloalkane (i.e. cyclobutaneand1methylcyclopropane)
