Human sperm:

  2. It is formed by the process of spermatogenesis.

Autosomes:

  1. All the DNA or genetic material of a cell is located on chromosomes, which is the highest level of organization of DNA.
  2. Autosomes control the inheritance of all the characteristics of organisms except the sex-linked characters.
  3. The inheritance of sex-linked characteristics is controlled by the sex chromosomes.
  4. Autosomes are the 22 pairs of human chromosomes other than the sex chromosomes.
  5. After meiosis, a sperm cell will contain 22 autosomes and one sex chromosome.
