Solution

The major blood vessels connected to heart include superior and inferior vena cava, aorta and pulmonary artery. Rigidity or stiffness of blood vessels or specifically arteries, is a condition where blood vessels lose their elasticity. As does in the case of arteriosclerosis. It causes hardening of blood vessels and loss of elasticity.
