Height of the wall=2.5m=250cm
Thickness of the wall=40cm
Volume of the wall=length×height×thicknesscubic units.
=1800×250×40cu.cm
Length of the brick=24cm
Height of the brick=12.5cm
Thickness of the brick=8cm
Volume of the brick=length×height×thicknesscubic units.
=24×12.5×8cu.cm
the number of bricks required=volumeofthewallvolumeof1brick
=1800×250×4024×12.5×8
=1800×250×40×1024×125×8
=1800×2×5×5=7500
Hence , the number of bricks required=7500
