Humans are complex organisms made up of trillions of cells, each with its own structure and function. A number of cells in human increase till a certain age. A newborn baby has fewer cells as compared to an adult.

A thin person has fewer number cells as compared to a healthy person.

Scientists have come a long way in estimating the number of cells in the average human body. Most recent estimates put the number of cells at around 100 trillion in an adult human being of age around 20-30 years.
