Solution

The correct option is C 4
The Golgi apparatus is made up of a series of compartments consisting of two main networks: the cis-Golgi network (CGN) and the trans-Golgi network (TGN). They described the Golgi complex comprising the following four components : Cisternae, vacuoles, vesicles and tubules.
1. Cisternae : These are flattened sacs arranged parallel to each other. Each cisternae is bound by a smooth membrane. Each stack of cisternae is a polarized structure having two faces; proximal or forming face and distal or maturation phase.
2. Golgian vacuoles : These are rounded sac-like structures with large space. They are formed at the distal ends of cisternae by the process of vesiculation of cisterna sacs.
3. Vesicles : They are present at the periphery of cisternae attached to tubules. They are minute droplets like in shape. These are of two types: smooth vesicle and coated vesicle.
4. Tubules: It is a network of fine branched tubular structures.
