  4. The duration of the menstrual cycle varies among females, it could be 22 to 35 days.
  5. The average duration of the menstrual cycle in a female is 28 days where she starts ovulating on the 14th day.
  6. Based on this ovulation period, the most fertile days are the 12th, 13th, and 14th days.
  7. For a female whose cycle duration is 35 days, ovulation takes place on the 21st day and the most fertile days are the 19th, 20th, and 21st days.
