How many degrees are there in an angle which equals two-third of its complement?

Open in App
Solution

Let the required angle be x.

Then its complementary angle = 90 - x

x = 23 × 90 - x

3x = 180 - 2x

5x = 180

x = 36

Hence, there are 36 degrees in such an angle.
