Dimensions in the universe :

Dimensions are different facets of reality. The three dimensions that surround us daily are length, width, and depth ( represented in the x,y,and zaxes respectively). Scientists believe that there exist more dimensions beyond these three visible dimensions.

  • Length – Length is considered to be the first dimension. A straight line is a one-dimensional object which exists only in terms of length.
  • Height – Two-dimensional shape like the square
  • Depth – The third dimension gives all objects a sense of area and a cross-section. A cube is an example of a three-dimensional object.

Scientists believe time to be the fourth dimension. Time governs the properties of all known matter at any given point.
