Dear ​Saurabh Dubely,

If n+l=5 so it is posible for the following subshells 3d, 4p, 5s.
In d subshell maximum e can be 10, in p subshell 6 e and in s subshell 2 e will be present.
So total maximum electron in any subshell has n+l=5 are 18.
